Main Statute of the Econometric Research Association - Basic rules regarding the association's founding purposes, activity areas, organs and operation.

Real persons who accept the purposes of the Association and meet the conditions stipulated by the associations law can become full members of the Association. A decision is made about the candidate member by unanimous vote of the Board of Directors within 30 days at the latest.
Every member can leave the Association at any time by notifying the Board of Directors in writing. A member who resigns is obliged to pay their accumulated membership dues.
The relationship with the Association is severed for those who do not pay their dues, those who act contrary to the laws and the Association statute, those who suffer financial incapacity, and those who are convicted of shameful acts.
The General Assembly consists of the full members of the Association. Each member has one voting right in the General Assembly. The member uses their vote personally.
The organs of the association are:
General Assembly ordinary meetings are held once every two years in March. The call must be made at least fifteen days in advance.
The duties and powers of the General Assembly:
The Board of Directors consists of 7 full and 7 substitute members elected by secret ballot for 2 years from among the full members of the Association. At the beginning of each management year, it elects a President, Vice President, Secretary and Accountant Member among themselves.
Duties and powers of the Board of Directors:
General President: Has the authority to represent the association, organize the agenda, and manage meetings.
Vice President: Has the powers and responsibilities of the General President in the absence of the President.
General Secretary: Responsible for document processing, communication and preparation of decisions.
Accountant Member: Keeps association accounts, collects dues and donations, manages expenses.
The financial activities of the Association are audited by the Audit Committee consisting of three full and three substitute members elected by the General Assembly from among the principal members for two years. It conducts audits at intervals not exceeding six months and presents the results in the form of a report.
The Honor Board consists of three principal and three substitute members elected by the General Assembly from among its own members. It determines its own working method in its first meeting and decides on matters given by the Board of Directors.
Within thirty days following the election made by the General Assembly, the information of the elected members is notified to the highest civil authority of the place where the association center is located.
Regulations and internal statutes can be issued for the internal audit of the association. The First Board of Directors directly implements the statutes or regulations it will prepare.
Association members cannot be paid for active services. However, expenses they incur and document on behalf of the association are covered.

Note: The association's entrance fee is fifty YTL and the annual membership fee is one hundred and twenty YTL.
Books to be kept:
Association income is collected with receipt documents and expenses are made with expense documents. The storage period for documents is five years. Collected money is delivered to the association treasurer within thirty days.
The association can borrow with the decision of the board of directors to achieve its purpose. This borrowing cannot be made in amounts that cannot be covered by the association's income sources.
Associations can buy or sell real estate with the decision of the board of directors upon authorization by their general assemblies. They are obliged to notify the civil administration within one month from the registration of the real estate they acquire to the land registry.
The Association General Assembly can decide on its dissolution. The decision regarding dissolution must be made by a two-thirds majority of the members present at the meeting. In case of dissolution, its assets are transferred to another organization or Foundation established for similar purposes.
The association's statute is amended by a two-thirds majority of the members participating in the General Assembly.
